Green Flame Solutions Uganda Limited is a women-led clean cooking and renewable energy company committed to accelerating the transition to affordable, sustainable, and environmentally friendly energy solutions across Uganda and the wider East African region.

We are committed to expanding energy access while addressing climate change and improving lives. Our work aligns with global Sustainable Development Goals, particularly Affordable and Clean Energy (SDG 7), Good Health and Well-Being (SDG 3), and Climate Action (SDG 13).

We design and deliver innovative clean cooking technologies and renewable energy solutions that reduce reliance on traditional biomass fuels such as firewood and charcoal.

How We Work

Our Process

We take a practical, community-centered approach to delivering clean cooking and renewable energy solutions, ensuring every project creates lasting impact.

Understand

We assess the unique energy needs of households, institutions, and businesses — from cooking to lighting and productive energy use. We also work with community groups and SACCOs.

Design

We develop tailored solutions combining clean cooking technologies with renewable energy systems — biogas, improved cookstoves, electric cooking, and solar — ensuring efficiency, affordability, and sustainability.

Deliver

We supply and install high-quality systems designed for reliability and long-term performance — including solar systems for lighting, appliances, and productive use, plus clean cooking technologies that reduce fuel consumption and emissions.

Finance & Access

We partner with Savings and Credit Cooperative Organizations (SACCOs) to make clean energy affordable. Through flexible financing, payment plans, and community-based lending, more households and businesses can adopt clean technologies without high upfront costs.

Train

We provide hands-on training to ensure users can safely and effectively operate and maintain both clean cooking and renewable energy systems.

Support

We offer ongoing after-sales service, maintenance, and technical support to ensure systems continue to perform efficiently and deliver value over time.
